KITCHEN
Do you know your way around the kitchen and want to work under the direction of a professional chef? We have openings for weekly and on-call kitchen assistants, dishwashers, and meal packagers. Join our incredible volunteers who assist our culinary staff with meal preparation and service. Professional skills are not required but always appreciated. Kitchen positions require standing, lifting, and good coordination and vision.
INVENTORY AND DISTRIBUTION
Join our inventory and distribution volunteers who support our curbside meal and grocery distribution events in various ways. Volunteers receive and put away food deliveries, sort, bag, and box food, greet and guide families through the distribution line, load meals and groceries into vehicles and carts, and provide general support.
These positions require counting, standing, squatting, good communication skills, and lifting.
DRIVERS
We have opportunities for drivers to pick up donated food or deliver nutritious meals to our partner agencies in the community. If you’re ready to get behind the wheel of the WCFR van and have good people skills, we would love to have you on the team! This job requires an excellent driving record and lifting.
We offer additional opportunities to clean, organize, tend our outdoor planters, do office work, provide fundraising support, and promote mission awareness.
