Kitchen Volunteers

Do you know your way around the kitchen and want to work under the direction of a professional chef? We have openings for weekly and on-call kitchen assistants, dishwashers, meal packagers and grocery packers. Join our incredible volunteers who assist our culinary staff with meal preparation and meal service. Professional skills not required but always appreciated. Kitchen positions require standing, lifting, and good coordination and vision.

Meal and Grocery Distribution Volunteers

Join our team of distribution volunteers who support our safe, contactless curbside meal and grocery service on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Our warm and welcoming volunteers greet and guide families through the line, load meals and groceries, and support COVID safety protocols. Position requires standing and lifting.

Pick Up & Delivery Drivers and Other Ways to Make an Impact

We have opportunities for drivers to pick up donated food or deliver nutritious meals to our partner agencies in the community. If you’re ready to get behind the wheel of the WCFR van and have good people skills, we would love to have you! This job requires an excellent driving record and lifting.

Dining Room Volunteers

Our in-house dining services are temporarily suspended and these positions are not currently available. We look forward to offering our front of house positions again in the future.

WCFR serves dignity with its nutritious meals. Hostesses, servers, bussers and others make this happen with friendly smiles and a welcoming attitude. We have three incredible “front of the house” teams on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Regular and on-call shifts available.  Join us and let your people skills shine in the dining room!

We offer additional opportunities working in our laundry room, cleaning and organizing, tending our outdoor planters, office work, fundraising support and mission awareness.
