In collaboration with the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) and Aristo Healthcare Services, Women & Children’s Free Restaurant is hosting a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, from 10 AM to 3 PM.

Vaccines Available
Pfizer: 1st dose, 2nd dose and vaccine booster
Johnson & Johnson: one dose vaccine

Every person receiving a new vaccination will receive a gift card!
We’ve changed this to provide more opportunities for a gift card! The first 100 people, whether new (meaning their first dose) or receiving their second or booster dose will receive a gift card.

All Washingtonians ages 12 and older are eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccination. Getting vaccinated for COVID-19 is a safe, effective way to protect yourself and your community from COVID-19.

Vaccines work by helping to make your body’s natural defense against disease—your immune system—even stronger. When you get the vaccine, it prompts your body to make antibodies and other infection-fighting cells to fight the virus. The antibodies stay in your blood and protect you in case you are infected with the virus.

You can have confidence in the COVID-19 vaccine! Most people in the United States are or are planning to be vaccinated against COVID-19, but some may want more information before getting vaccinated. Help your friends and family distinguish between rumors and facts regarding the COVID-19 vaccine.

Drive-up and walk-up services are available. Please have an adult woman in your group, and please bring your ID with you. Sleeveless tops are recommended.

Join the car line at West Boone Avenue and North Normandie Street, driving west on Normandie. Traffic volunteers will direct you to the building. After receiving your vaccination, you will be asked to remain in your parked vehicle (if driving) or in our parking lot (if walking or traveling by transit) for a period of 15 minutes before leaving that area. Walk-up participants will be provided a chair.

IMPORTANT: If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, please stay home and avoid spreading illness to others: Sniffles or Runny Nose; Fever; Dry Cough; Shortness of Breath; Chills; Body Aches; Sore Throat; Diarrhea; Headache; Nausea; Vomiting.

WCFR’s meal and grocery distribution will not be offered on October 13, 2021.
